This document outlines the planned development and release schedule for our products.

2024

Apache Cloudberry™ (Incubating) incubation: Cloudberry was officially approved as an Apache Incubator project.

Note

Apache Cloudberry™ (Incubating) is an advanced and mature open-source Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) database, derived from the open-source version of the Greenplum Database® but built on a more modern PostgreSQL kernel and with more advanced enterprise capabilities. Cloudberry can serve as a data warehouse and can also be used for large-scale analytics and AI/ML workloads.

Important

Apache Disclaimer

Apache Cloudberry is an effort undergoing incubation at The Apache Software Foundation (ASF), sponsored by the Apache Incubator. Incubation is required of all newly accepted projects until a further review indicates that the infrastructure, communications, and decision making process have stabilized in a manner consistent with other successful ASF projects. While incubation status is not necessarily a reflection of the completeness or stability of the code, it does indicate that the project has yet to be fully endorsed by the ASF.
